The Project
WORKS OF REHABILITATION OF THE EXTERIOR PAINTERS, WATERPROOFING OF THE ROOF AND REVISION OF THE HYDRIC – SANITARY SYSTEMS OF THE GIANNI RODARI SCHOOL | Ciampino (RM)
This project concerns work on the redoing of exterior plaster, waterproofing of the roof where necessary and overhaul of the sanitary water system, as well as the replacement of all interior fixtures in the toilet blocks of the “Gianni Rodari” Primary School in Ciampino, Via Mura dei Francesi 189.
The intervention in question has the overall objective of building rehabilitation of the building, that is, to physically and consequently socially redevelop a place in need of rehabilitation, so as to foster the sense of belonging to the place and the necessary quality that are the basis of an organic development between individual-society and place, especially with regard to what in object is strongly linked to the concept of sociality, growth and education.
The recovery and rationalization of the school site will be pursued through the following implementation strategies and related interventions:
- Redevelopment of the building envelope in its essential components and finishes;
- Securing of architectural components in AC by rehabilitation and restoration of deteriorated elements;
- Review of elements related to the water-sanitary system, including its components – such as interior fixtures – Rodari School – Ciampinoefinishes.
